The work is a minimalist, layered composition featuring a vibrant red rectangular base oriented horizontally. Resting atop this flat, matte surface is a smaller white sheet of crumpled paper, centered to create a stark, high-contrast frame of red around its perimeter. While the red background remains rigid and uniform, the white top layer is heavily textured with irregular folds and creases that catch the light, creating a complex play of shadows. Adding a layer of domestic intimacy to the industrial aesthetic, the translucent quality of the paper allows text from a doctor’s prescription printed on the reverse side to faintly ghost through the surface.
